Saskatchewan - Pharmacists in Saskatchewan receive expanded prescribing authority

Effective March 4, 2011, pharmacists in Saskatchewan received expanded prescribing authority to extend refills and provide emergency supplies of prescribed medications. In the near future, pharmacists may also have the authority to prescribe certain medications for minor ailments.
